Common questions

Before you decide.

No setup fee on Pilot or Portfolio plans. Month-to-month with no minimum commitment. Enterprise plans are annual contracts with volume pricing. If you start on Pilot and want to upgrade mid-month, we prorate the difference.
We take 12 months of your site's SCADA generation data and run it through our forecast model using historical NWP archive data. The report shows hourly forecast error distribution, error by weather regime, and a comparison against what a naive day-ahead forecast would have produced. You receive this before signing anything.
Typical integration is 3 to 5 business days from the point your SCADA credentials and EMS endpoint are available. This covers: data connection setup, format mapping for your dispatch schedule, and two days of acceptance testing with live data. We do the configuration; you test against your own operational data.
Yes. Your EMS retains full control. Bluefield sends a schedule recommendation; your system decides whether to execute it. You can hold any interval, override individual time blocks, or pause the schedule entirely. The system logs all overrides for your accuracy reporting.
SCADA readings and dispatch history are stored in your own cloud tenancy (AWS Tokyo region by default, or your designated region). Bluefield does not retain your operational data outside your infrastructure. Enterprise plans support on-premises deployment.
Wind generation forecasting is available as an add-on module on Enterprise plans. The wind module uses the same local correction approach as the solar model: NWP wind speed and direction fields corrected against your hub-height measurement history. Contact us to discuss your wind fleet configuration.
