Integrations

Connects to the data your grid already produces.

Bluefield ingests weather NWP feeds, live SCADA generation readings, and JEPX market price signals. Output goes directly to your EMS as a structured dispatch schedule. No new data infrastructure required.

Data Inputs

Three data streams, one forecast loop.

Bluefield's ingestion layer handles the three feeds that determine dispatch quality: numerical weather prediction, site SCADA, and market prices. Each feed runs on its own polling schedule and quality check.

If a feed is delayed or produces out-of-range values, the system flags the gap and falls back to the last known good reading. You receive an alert and the dispatch schedule notes which inputs were degraded for that cycle.

Weather NWP
JMA MSM, ECMWF ERA5, NOAA GFS. Irradiance, temperature, humidity, cloud cover. Updated every 3 to 6 hours.
SCADA Generation
1-minute and 5-minute interval active power readings from your existing SCADA system. Supports REST API, SFTP CSV, Modbus TCP, and OPC-UA feeds.
JEPX Market Prices
Day-ahead auction results and intraday spot prices from Japan Electric Power Exchange. Settlement window data for revenue optimization.
BESS State-of-Charge
Real-time SoC readings from your battery management system. Used to constrain dispatch optimization to current battery headroom.
Output Formats

Dispatch schedule in the format your EMS expects.

The dispatch schedule is delivered every 30 minutes as a rolling 24 to 48-hour horizon file. We support JSON via REST webhook, CSV via SFTP, and IEC 61968 CIM XML for utility-grade EMS platforms.

Each schedule file includes: charge-discharge MW by 30-minute interval, expected SoC trajectory, the solar generation forecast it was based on, and a confidence band for each interval. You can inspect, hold, or override individual intervals before they execute.

Webhook delivery latency target is under 90 seconds from the close of each 30-minute NWP update window. If the delivery SLA is missed, the system retries and logs the incident.

JSON Webhook
Structured JSON payload pushed to your endpoint every 30 minutes. Includes schedule, forecast, SoC trajectory, and confidence intervals. HTTPS with HMAC signing.
CSV via SFTP
Flat-file dispatch schedule deposited on your SFTP server. Compatible with legacy EMS platforms. Columns configurable to match your system's expected format.
IEC 61968 CIM XML
Standards-compliant dispatch message for utility-grade energy management systems. Validated against IEC 61968-100 messaging profiles.
EMS Compatibility

Works alongside your existing energy management system.

Bluefield does not replace your EMS. It sends a dispatch schedule to it. Your operators retain full visibility and override authority. The system is designed to be transparent: every schedule file records which inputs drove the recommendation.

We have delivered schedules to EMS platforms from Siemens Spectrum Power, ABB Ability, GE Grid Solutions, and custom-built control room systems in western Japan. The integration is configuration-level work, not a code integration project on your side.

Typical integration timeline: 3 to 5 days for data connections and format mapping. We do the integration work; your operations team does acceptance testing against your own live data.

Siemens Spectrum Power
REST webhook + IEC 61968 CIM XML delivery. Tested with Spectrum Power 7 and 8.
ABB Ability SCADA
CSV SFTP drop-off and OPC-UA feed ingestion. Schedule fields mapped to ABB dispatch command table.
Custom control room systems
If your EMS reads JSON or CSV, Bluefield can deliver. Custom field mapping and polling schedule configuration included in all plans.

Talk to an engineer. If you have a data feed and an endpoint that can receive a file, we can likely integrate.
